My bike starts right up -- what wrong?
My bike starts right up -- what wrong?
After sitting in below 30 degree temps for 4 days I was able to start my bike right up with no choke at all. This doesn't seem right. Should I be worried?

The bike is completely stock and has a brand new OEM air filter. Plugs look pretty black. Guessing it's running to rich. I checked the choke cable and the part that moves in and out of each carb nothing seems stuck.

Any advice/comments would be appreciated

Mike

I'd check your float level. The floats might be saturated with fuel and therefore less boyant. You might also have a problem with leaking float needle seats - either at the needle or the oring that seals the seat to the carb body.
