chains

Post by fzrnut »

Hullo all,
I'm looking for a little advice on chains before I go and throw a wad of cash at something that may or may not do the job.
I'm looking at a new chain for my genisis my options are DID or RK, we can't get Tsubaki in my country any more.
So it's either RK 530 XSO or 530GXW the more expensive one
or DID 530VM or 530ZVM which is the more expensive one.
What I'd like to know is has anyone tried any of these or both and what chain seems to perform better,I don't mind paying for the more expensive chains - but are they worth the extra cash?Any feedback would be great.
Fzrnut

I would opt for the cheaper and replace more often. Does that make any sense? Especially in dirty/dusty areas OR when does not have time to always keep the chain clean and oiled.
