That's a kick ass time - if it's normally aspirated. I'm sure that you had to do some chassis mods too. BTW, have you been able to do the measurement for me?

Normaly asperated, yes
I think it ran 132 or so
The time slips are in my record keeping book down in the shop, I;ll have go look but I think the 8th was in the 6's at about 106 or 7
The bike is not lowered or streached, I wanted to do it as a street bike not a race bike
I have a Dyna two step I got from Schnitz's and it's set at 6K and I shift at about 12400, but I have lots of light weight valve gear
My cams ate at 108 and 110 lobe centers. I have a friewnd that died last year that raves a Buell and held a national big end record, I could consistantly beat him in the 60ft's and tear him up at the big end
Jim

thank for the infos dragracer, it seem you built the good et from a really good half track run! 6k rpm seem good, but didnt you tried a 8k where there is more torque? anyway the fzr have a good pull between 4.5 and 5.5 krpm, and a bit of stall between 6 and 7k rpm, the timed cam sure work good!

The problem with leaving with more rpms is that its a stock actuated clutch...not a slider...You have to REALLY be able to manage the clutch at the hit. Very hard to do and still get a good 60ft and not spool the tire.
My Pro Mod bike has an MRE slider and it leaves at 8K with no issues because you can adjust the bite and where it engages. It also has an air button, so I don't have to do anything except get off the button and the front brake and get on the gas and get the bike up on the bar
Jim

yes it sound right if you did 1.42 using 6k rpm there is no need to try at higher rpm, and pro bike besides of scary performance look a lot easier to use them power.........all is well balanced in them!
