Loose Emulsion tube screws

Hi,

While checking the carbs i found the emulsion tubes were loose. not even hand tight! one was unscrewed about 1.5 turns!

Im pretty sure that isnt right? Would this might explain why the engine has had a stutter right through the rev range?

Nope they should be tight. Probably was the cause.
