I agree there are no 40mm FCRs. Those sound like a stock flat slide set off of some limited production recent model. As such it is anybody's guess as to what they really are & what they will work on. Then one must ask where will I get parts. More info about the exact point of origin would help.

If they are 41mm FCRs then my first paragraph in my first post in this string covers the situation.

Matt at PSB

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p072.ezboard.com/bexupbrotherhoo ... atpsb>Matt at PSB at: 12/23/04 10:42 am

the yzf 1000 thunderace have tps carbs so maybe if them fit the fzr intake, those come off an thunderace or yzf 750 sp.....I had seen two batch of 40mm fcr with tps stated them were from a yzf 750 sp on ebay german.

Thanks matt and canappa.

my thought´s were also on the stock "flatslide". the model indicates towards some zxr750r setup or similar and yes the thing that i said to the seller were that i have to confirm availability of parts beforehand.
they origin from the deutch ebay so theres really no telling where they are from.
To matt: i will still seriously consider the 41´s as my bike targets towards track and i do not care much about the performance below 4th rpm.
but first things first... just in the middle of painting fairings ... oh man its hard to get the finish perfect. colours ducati red/white/black.
when its finished ill take the head of and get it ported.

Be forewarned, the price of new Keihin smooth bores in the North America market went up on 01/01/05. What with the weak US dollar I can't say that I'm surprised. I'll have my new price book soon.

Matt at PSB

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p072.ezboard.com/bexupbrotherhoo ... atpsb>Matt at PSB at: 1/26/05 2:36 pm
