front sprocket bearing

does anyone know if its an enginge out and split the cases job to replace the bearing behind the front sprocket? <p></p><i></i>

The sprocket bearing, (and clutch basket bearing) is an interference fit on the output shaft and I think it has a pin that locates it in the caseing. Yes, you do need to split the cases! Had the same trouble on my old FZ750.<br>If it uses any oil, do the valve seals and rings at the same time. <p></p><i></i>
