I need help routing and attaching the hoses and tubing below th Fuel Tank. They are all mixed up now. I don't know what goes where. I would really like a diagra of all hoses, large and small, and where they attach.

Thanks so far guys.
The problem is that I have changed engines and I need to know where each hose connects. (both ends)
1:Vacuum
2:Coolant
3:Cooling overflow or whatever it is. I can see 3 hoses that just hang like drain lines down underneath near the
kickstand. I don't know where they come from.

If someone will send me a diagram or two that would be great.

Basicall I need to know where each port is and where the other port is for the other end of the hose.
I am especially concerned with the vacuum lines. She idles rough and I can see black soot starting to forming on the tail pipe. After reving past 3,000 RPM she is smooth and powerful. I think I need to get the vacuum hoses in order first before adjusting anything.

Re: Hoses on 1990 FZR1000
ok. your problem is not hose relaited. the vacuum hose goes from carburator intace to fuelsystem.
2. coolant?.. if there is nothing wrong with it, why would you want to change anything? generally the coolant overflow (the one that collects to the bottle under seat) is connecter in the radiator cap, so that when the cap under high pressure (high temperature) lifts, it can collect the water in the coolant bottle.
3. the 3 hoses hangin could be tank-air hose and some overflows from carburators. nothing to be quite alarmed for, but do take your tank off if you want to be sertain.

....4... your problem. i should think that your needle jets are worn and needs to be replased. that is the main reason for rough idle and poor running under 3-4krpm. there are several posts about it and here is the link to factorypro who sells repairs to them. reed it and then ask for more info if it does not open
www.factorypro.com/tech/needle_jet_Miku ...

OK. Lets just talk vacuum hoses. You say from carburetor to fuel system. Can you be more specific. Can you list each vacuum hose and where exactly it connects.

Re: Hoses on 1990 FZR1000
i think that someone with an org fzr should answer this as the vacumes goes different in yzf becourse of the fuelpump located inside the tank. and i just hava one vacum hose. from tank bottom to intake manifold no 4. to the backside of it.
sorry but cant help more

Thanks Cterror. Hoses are routed OK now. I just had come duplicate hoses and. Some were still on the bike. Some were still on the new engine. I just had to remove the extra hoses and everything lined up as you said.
