hi does any one know if when you de restrict an exup 1000 circa 1989 do you have to compensate with any carb mods.<br>i have spent months doing my bike up and now my last task is to get it crisp from 1000 rpm -3000rpm it has been derestricted by the previous owner, it pulls ok lowdown but after 3000 rpm there is a real difference.<br>i have balanced the carbs and set the mixture 1/2 a turn rich because i was going to fit a race can<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :rolleyes --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eyes.gif ALT=":rolleyes"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <p></p><i></i>

no you don't have to compensate for anything when you cut the webs out to de-restrict the carbs <p></p><i></i>
