light crank for FZR1000?

Hello All,<br>Just wonder re. crank weight: has anybody lightened the crank? How much? Dinamic balance? Results?<br>Are such available in aftermarket? Link, pls.<br>Thanks for any info. <p></p><i></i>

<br> If you're takking about an FZR1000 EXUP crank then the easiest and cheapest way would be to fit a thunderace crank which I have done and can confirm that they are about 4lb lighter, the only other thing that you need to have is the HI-VO chain and guide as the THUNDERACE uses a larger crank sprocket, other than that it fits straight in. <br> I can't comment on how much faster it spins up or anything because it's in my spare engine in the garage but I would guess that it feels just like a thunderace lump.<br> regards<br> chris <p></p><i></i>

Had my crank and rods balanced. carbs are so bad I can't tell if it helps or not. Not much material was removed to do the job, if that helps. Still working on the carbs.<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START ;) --><img src=
