Hi, pals.

Just got X-tra white (more properly bluish) H4 and H7 bulbs to replace stock ones in my 97 T-Ace. Can anyone tell me how difficult is the task? Does it involve front fairing disassembling or just a "tricky-hand" job from behind?
Thanks.

Marc.

If its from behind you should see and be able to pull out the headlight electrical plug and then the black rubber "cap". Undo the spring/clamp etc....Oh, and don't forget not to touch the bulb AT ALL--I've already had some blow...I think actually they need to be cleaned somehow??? before install b/c who knows who accidently touched them before the box?....I've got 7000K Hi-lite's H4.......
Nbot
'94 Fizzer Litre

You can use rubbing alcohol or similar to clean the bulbs.

Yeah nbot I just installed the H4 6000K xenon bulbs as found on ebay. They are rated at 55 watts. I tried them despite my suspicions that it would overload the hot wires but so far no issues. I feel comfortable enough with them that I have gone and ordered me sets to replace the headlights on my other bikes as well.

All I can say is big difference from the normal h4's. I can see now.
-John

Yeah mine are 55/60W and ran them even before I did the wiring relay...between the two mods if I walk in front of my bike at night at any distance its pretty bright<img src=
