Warped discs

Post by Marcelo »

Hi there...<br>Just noticing a slight vibration on my right fingers during hard braking. I'm afraid my Ace has warped front discs. Which other Yammies' are compatible, apart from TDM ones? R1, R6, T-Cat? Thinking to start searching for replacements on eBay, perhaps... <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :\ --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br><br>TIA. <p>'97 Blue/Black Ace<br>'98 Gold/Black TDM</p><i></i>

Am I reading this right in that these rotors run $200/each on average ? I also have a slight warpage in the right rotor which is noticeable when braking. Going to get them mic'ed for thickness anyway as these things seem pretty thin.

My bike had worped rotors on it so i hunted around and brought some brembo disc rotors for my fzr1k 90 model of ebay. They were of a ducati 748.i payed $285.00 aud. They are working great with new sbs pads.

There must be a few worped rotors hangin in sheds around the world.can they be unworped. The mechanics at work say they have tried(floating disc) but just made them worse.they have had more sucsess with solid discs.
