Hey man, for some reason until I looked at your bios I thought you were from Philadelphia, not London! Oh well, I suppose it might be a bit easier to do a winter there then Philly...I stayed in London a couple nights a few years ago with some buddies, very busy city although most of what I remember was getting pissed at the bar while it was pissing out side! <img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... And where did our smilies go??
Nbot
'94 Fizzer Litre

Been riding bikes for 20 years now and thro` most winters !
Never had a car licence ( never wanted one either !) , spent 5 years as a motorcycle courier and 3 years as a pushbike courier in Central London ...!
Don`t look forward to it but it does improve your road skills and awareness of changing road conditions...

i.e. last winter rode to me parents out Wales way....nice bright sunshiny day only to ride straight into a massive snowstorm going over the Chiltern Hills ...had to stop and wait for a few lorries to go past to clear a path!!!

My worst tho` was riding a 20 mile torture bak home while being covered in ice , it was "cold rain " or some other freaky thing where it fell as rain , not snow , but covered me , me bike and the roads in thick ice!!! I had to snap of the icicles that attached me to the saddle !!!AGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH<img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... ng_sad.gif ALT=":sad"> <img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... ng_sad.gif ALT=":sad"> <img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... ng_sad.gif ALT=":sad">

that`d put the fair weather bikers off for another summer !

.p.
