Just yanked the head off my 95 to replace the head gasket. Yea I know I got the gasket in Sept....
Got the head off no problem (engine in the frame) and this is pretty easy, untill I have to torque the two cap nuts on the intake side at the outside of the motor....
Who's done this in the frame? is this just a flip flop with a socket thing or do I have to roll the engine down out of the frame??????
Thanks in advance, as always
Jim

We goin to the Gee Pee
We goin to the Gee Pee.... <img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... ananna.gif ALT=":banana"> <img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... ananna.gif ALT=":banana"> <img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... ananna.gif ALT=":banana"> <img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... ananna.gif ALT=":banana">

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p072.ezboard.com/bexupbrotherhoo ... cer1951 at: 1/26/05 8:49 pm

You need a set of Snap-On 1/4" universal drive metric sockets and a Snap-On 1/4" extention or two.

Bring your money with you in the $250-350 range when you go to the Snap-On Tool Truck.

Matt at PSB

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p072.ezboard.com/bexupbrotherhoo ... atpsb>Matt at PSB at: 1/27/05 12:52 am

I droped the front of my engine leaving just the lower rear bolt in and lowered it down on a trolly jack. Remember to unhook the drive chain though With the front of the engine tilted forwards you can get to the head bolts.

Mark
