FZ 750 idle problems

Post by wallbanger »

I have an 87 FZ 750. I have K&N pod filters, full V&H exhaust, Stage 3 jet kit, 128 mains, needle clip 3rd pos., FZ 1000 cams with .030 more lift, no air plug, pilot screw 2 turns out. It revs and pulls like a bat outta hell. It stumbles at 3250-4000 but runs straight through without feeling if revving through it. My problem is it idles perfect but when the engine heats up and I stop at a light, the idle rises to 2500-3000 rpm. If I let out he clutch slow in 1st gear to bring it down to 1100 and pull it back in it will stay at 1100 but will slowly rise again to 2500. like it's pulling in fuel or air on it's own to raise the slides in the carb. The cable isn't pulling it. What do you guys think?

wallbanger
