Engine mounts

On the 88 FZR1000, the bottom rear engine mount is rubber mounted. Looking at the parts manuals, it looks like the later FZR1000 used solid mounts. Same with the FZ750's. <br><br>Any harm in fabricating aluminum bushings to replace the rubber bushings?<br><br>Chris <p></p><i></i>
