Scar, that head is simply beautiful, almost brings something evil to mind. How did he port it? By hand or was it extrude honed? Is it geared for topend hp or all over increase???

By hand.
It's got a six speed box and is now set up with a supercharger on it.
More pictures to follow.....

Very interesting Scar. Is that a Weiand 144 mini blower? (looks to me like it). If so, thats gonna be one hell of a ride once all done. A friend of mine put a 144 on his 355 chevy and Weiand cautioned him about spinning it up too high, they said maximum rpm for the engine shouldnt exceed 6500rpm as it overdrives the blower(the blower makes no more boost and can damage the bearings)...

Where you gonna put the gas tank?????? I assume when you say crank work, you mean you are modding the crank for the lower drive pulley? I would be careful with that set up, I think you need a sticker near the air filter warning "small children and animals to keep clear"...

What kind of frame is that it looks real neat?
It looks like a gsxr 1000 forks on it.

The frame was a one off build done by Steel Heart Engineering in the UK. :cool

Yep spot on the front forks are GSXR 1000 with full Ohlins internals.

The supercharger is made by firm called Magnacharger in the US and is the same as the one used for supercharging VMax's.
Magnacharger have assured me that the supercharger will spin upto full RPM plus with no problems.

The bike is currently having the lower pulley wheel machined onto the end of the crank. :banana :banana :banana

I will post some more pic's once this stage has been finished.

ah a steelheart, chatted to them on phone the other day, seem like nice blokes, wats the finish like on the welds and joins? was it costly, they seem cheaper than arris and spondon, but cheaper isnt always better

The welds and joins are superb :D as far as cost goes I would not be able to tell you the current cost as my frame was made over 8 years ago :!:
But having seen some of Lee's more recent work you'll be hard pushed to find better.

golly...
Displacement is all well and good but you have to get it to the ground. Does adding this in mandate clutch mods ?

Hi Sickle44

She's still with my precision engineer friend having the end of the crank adapted to take the bottom pulley wheel for the supercharger. I hope to have progressed a bit further by February.

I will update the posting as the bike progresses, but it's a long and slow process getting everything right.

Hi Silver

I've gone the route of using an over sized Billet lock up clutch. This involves using a spacer plate to fit it in.

This should handle the combination of the 1125 displacement combined with the supercharger and the kick from the nitrous when it's used.

Time will tell when I finally manage to start test running the bike.

I think you need to add one more item :

a parachute !

I was looking through some old posts and saw this thread. It seems to have faded away years ago but does anyone know what ever happened to it? Scar_biker, are you still out there? This is way too cool a project just to disappear.

The project ground to a halt and the bike was broken down and sold for spares.
