EXUPMAN 91 FZR1000

yeah its not bad,got a few marks on the panels,but hey it is 14yrs old,had an laugh with it the other night,had a little burn with a r1,(dont think the rider was too used to it),he could not get away from me, we was pulling about 120ish on this a-road near where i live,(up hill,short straights&some nice shallow "power-corners"),think it must of pissed him that this "old exup" was "hooked",on his number plate&he could not shake me off.when i park it up this winter the engine is being "blue-printed"&i will try to get it up to con-course condition,what ever i do i will keep you guys posted ,cheers &crack-on! dave<img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... iker_3.gif ALT=":riding">

Looks really good. I especially like the standard exhaust, they have an excellent deep chrome finish. But you do know it's an 89 (probably late registered). chris

hi guys,its a 90 on a h plate,but when i bought it ,it had a grp(glass fiber),fairing on it ,so i bought the 89 panels for it ,mainly cos i like the look of the 89 colours to the 90,got to get some new tyres for it ,any suggestions?,p/s i am the guy who bought the barrels &pistons off you chris,<img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... ock_On.gif ALT=":rock"> dave

that pipe is from a 89 - the 90 received the gorgeous gold unit (going by US models) the 90 had adjustable ez to read markings on the very top of the forks above the triple clamp - the 89 did not...be interesting if you took a closeup of the top fork adjusters tyres....many choices - regardless of what brand you go with the hot setup is 180/55-17 rear 120/70-17 front do you want higher mileage OR do you want to be able to get your knee down in every corner ? -John  <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v485/ ...   <a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v206/ ... cement.jpg" target="top">1995 FZR1000</a>  <a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v206/ ... 00x600.jpg" target="top">1990 FZR1000</a>  <a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v206/ ... resize.jpg" target="top">1990 FZR1040</a>

Hi again Dave I have mixed and matched all sorts of different tyres. I like the bt010 and pirelli dragons in 120/70, 180/55 The only bad experience with tyres on the EXUP was bt020 which spun up too readily in the wet, but many people think that they are the best in the wet so. You pays your money and takes your choice. chris

yeah see what you are saying,the bike has dragons on it (came with the bike),the exhaust can on the back i think,was just put on it before i bought it ,cos the carbs were dyno-jetted ,and i could not get it to run prop,at the bottom end 1000-4000rpm,so me mate give me a std set (low milage)to put on,runs a treat but 5 of the inlet valves are tight,not too bothered cos the engine is being taken down this winter,full rebuild&blue-printing,as for the forks they are the ones with the ez adjusters on the top(dont really know too much about them),cheers for the advice fellers ,dave<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

gold unit. hm... mine is a 90 as far as i know. it's imported to norway from us some one moved here with it, and i have the shiny can like that one, plate on me bike says prodused 89-9 0r was it 10 cant remeber.
