AHHHH the look alike carbon fiber chain gaurd.... What i mean is i took it off cleaned very well painted with semi gloss black plastic spray paint, let it dry and then wrapped small womens fish net stocking tightly arround it and lightly sprayed the silver metlic over thus giving the Carbon fiber look....

Ahhh, great job with the carbon fiber look! Was hoping you might have made your own mold to make real CF chain guards.
Exupnut,
What I am trying to make is if you look at the front light, 1st picture, i made it look like "Fox Eyes". Trying to make that cutout of carbon fiber... If it works out i will be posting them to see if anyone would be interested in them...
Nice work there Rockin'! Took a look at the pic and see exactly what you are talking about. I believe the euro spec models were equipped with two sockets/bulbs in the rectangular housing. Might make for a even "brighter" look. :cool
i think one was even a driving light and the other was turned on, but anyway I'm hoping to get these done and see how the fit and finish looks... again thanks..
I'm trying...lol just need to get the new R1 calipers cleaned up and painted
also get the new bearings installed on the front rims and it should all be done by the end of next weekend...
Hey Tim,
I don't think so the blue really looks like the blue on the bike and the rims all being polished will set it off really nice I think.
Beside so much easier to wipe the polished rims than the painted. Also the blue spots will work right along with the colored rotors...
I hope if not it's only paint so I can take it right off with some acetone if I have to
This is my 92 its got black, were yours has blue. Other than that they are the same.
I think we get euro models down here, which are slightly different to US models. Either way your bike is a credit to you, you should be very prowd of yourself.
Don't you think the "My Little Pony/Rainbow Brite" bike is gonna look silly with those wheels?
:ha
Oh, btw.... Bitchin Z-28.... what kinda times?
:edit I was referring to your daughters little push bike in the background. Your bike is killer looking. Wish mine looked that good.
Tim i didn't even realize that my daughters bike is what you were talking about :ha
