If I (and others) was serious about weight loss, I'd spring $40 for a pair of running shoes and drop 10% of the bikes weight. I'll take a couple ounces of weight to get the bike perfect. Besides, even when you get your 160horse 200lb bike, I'll still have to slow down to show you the right lines on the track!sickle44 wrote:Never liked adjustables myself, aren't we trying to shed weight on Porky,

Ahhhhh dude, now why did you have to go talkin' shit like that man, I didn't want to have to come to the track to show you just how bad you really need to loose weight! Ohhhhhhh, right back at yuh baby!Jon wrote:Besides, even when you get your 160horse 200lb bike, I'll still have to slow down to show you the right lines on the track
Hey Doug,
I'll need to get something made from you as well in a while. If I give you the dimensions for something, I imagine you can make it off of them yeah? Won't need it for a while though as I'm a ways away before chassis building.

Yes Yes I know, I said, I'm building a project YZF1070
Basement is done now, 850 finished and gone...
Gotta get the new siding up on the house.
Fixing the FZ1 up, cleaning up garage and then I might even begin

Sorry man,
But Frank ain't gonna see the track my friend. But! After I finish him, then I'll be startin' Frank's brother, an FZR400 with a 6 or 7.5 stuffed into his heart as a fully dedicated race machine, dry sump, total loss system, no starter clutch, oh Yeah Baby! Won't if feel sad to get spanked by an FZR400. Course, you don't mind if I have a few days out at the track myself do you, just to familiarize myself and maybe get somewhere even close to a 1/4 of the track time you've accumulated.

Why not take my street machine I just dumped several thousand dollars into to the track, MMMmmmmmm, let me think about that for a second
Just call me SuperSquidy or RickyRacer Jon whichever one you prefer!
Why do you think I'm gonna get a 400
Low side, woops, oh well,
High side, woops, oh well,
Duck tape, chicken wire, shoe polish, they let those kinda bikes on the track don't they???

Yeah, for sure, but when you're at a place where you don't mind riding at 9/10 or even 11/10 of your ability, shit will eventually happen. What was that statement in the movie "the Matrix," ahhhh yes, that's it, "Know ThySelf!" And Know thyself I do! As you also pointed out, I've got a very screwed up back to take care of as well, not to mention, two kids, wife, two cats, and a dog, etc. etc....
Now quit friggen buggin' me, I'll get there when I get there!
