the YZF750 forks on are, now to swap the rear end, fix the clean jetted carbs, add R1 tank sensor to spare rust free gas tank, and get her running again

Ill sort out the headlights, gauges later

I've been pretty absent, but I got married 18 months ago, and about 10 months the wife and I bought a house, and I finally got the garage sorted enough to work on the bike again(shelves up, workbench built, floor painted)

Great to hear from you Haunter,

Congrats on the house and more importantly the Mrs'.

RE: the R6 board, I've poked about the R1 board for a bit before and it's really quite humourous. Seems to be full of 20something year kids who must think they are faster than Rossi on their PCIII/Sliponned R1's. Absolutely no respect or even knowledge of the machine's that gave birth to the R1. Nor would it seem they'd give them any props for being any sort of a decent machine whatsoever, nothing like saying to a guy indirectly, you ride an absolute piece of shit man!

If it's not the latest and greatest, it's not a "good" motorcycle it seems, and that's just the beginning of the attitude deficiencies.

Man I'm gettin' to be an old crotchity s.o.b.
Michael
Yes Yes I know, I said, I'm building a project YZF1070

Basement is done now, 850 finished and gone...
Gotta get the new siding up on the house.
Fixing the FZ1 up, cleaning up garage and then I might even begin

love the bike... and the radioactive and bio hazard signs on the shed door. As good a security measure as anything I guess :)
