Thanks for the compliments. The lacquer is typicaly french deep. Sorry to say the 7 is for Christian Sarron as these were his colours, but I am a Sheene fan.

Nice machine, 92, or 93? Is that the same Yamaha racing blue that I'd like to use as well or is that a different blue?

Welcome to the board as well, are you one of Kiwi's racing friends?

Hi sickle! I'm not sure what blue it is, the only blue I found that matches is Tamia model paint which is used on their R1 kit. Going by that it could well be 98/99 R1 blue. It also has a light ultra-violet pearlesence over it too. As far as the year goes its age related at 94 but I'd say more 92/93 yes.

I like everything about it except the signals and mirrors, but hey, that's just me. Very nice shape, how many miles?

Unfortunately we've got to have them on there. I hate the mirrors but I've sourced some mini F1 mirrors. 61,905k = 38,465 miles

Only 62k? It's still new! :) The square mirrors are just more to my taste than the round ones and there are tons of signal options out there, we need them on too.

Sorry I'm not one of KIWI's racing friends
It's ok mobil, you can be my friend if you need to... :)

Personally, I've found that racing friends seem to change their ways as soon as the race starts and their actions become decidedly unfriendly....

Nice bike by the way mobil

Isn't that the way it's supposed to work? Would you have it any other way?

Thnx kiwi! When riding with my friends they complain I'm too fast, may be we should race, then they would have reason to complain.
