Hi,

Just found this forum and impressed with the knowledge and information available. Here is a picture of my new bike, a 91 FZR1000 RU EXUP. pretty standard except for a modified fairing where the ears have broken off and it has been reshaped.

Love that colour scheme, too, and
a great choice of bike!
Looks like you got a few other goodies in there too,
the front brakes have been upgraded to R1 brakes,
the mirrors are later-model square ones which are popular because
you can actually see out of them,
the muffler is sporty, and I can't see the shock properly but I think
that the standard one had a black spring, yours is yellow which
hints that it might be a special thing...
excellent!

Nice!!!

And Welcome sir,

Fairing almost looks as if it's from a 94-95? Does it have dual cateyes or is it a single beam, if dual, fairing is 94-95.

Gees you guys are good.

Way too much attentiion to detail. (yellow spring on the shock). Nice one hotcam. And how did you notice the blue dots on the front calipers?

I reckon olboy. Judging by the lack of tread groves on that rear tyre (it's almost a slick). You're going to have to ride that thing like a man possessed to get any good use out of it.

Watch out getting on the juice too early with a cold tyre. It'll let go on you quicker than you could imagine.

Brian.

Very observant everyone, well done. Pirelli diablo super corsa tyres. Ohlins rear shock and a few polished bits.

And don't worry, I'll take it real easy until those tyres have warmed up!
