Nice...I still have yet to ever see that color combo anywhere else except from the the both of you! on this board.

Even Yamaha cafe does not list that one. Almost a reverse of my black/grey/blue.

Non-US paint scheme. Plus they, meaning other than US (double meaning there), get really cool smaller bikes as well.

Tim
Director of Entertainment (eddieandthecrusiersmc.com).

Yay - It was a great day out.
Cracking weather.
I finally got my knee down after trying for 3 years on the road.
On my second session, as soon as I stopped thinking about trying to get it down and and got over the initial excitement of being on a race track, I focused on relaxing, counter steering and riding smoothly and my knee just went down!
What a buzz!
My 89 FZR 1000 wasn't out HP'd by the other riders in the Novice group either which was chuffing. Only a dude on an R1 was as quick as me (quicker in fact) and a bloke on a ZX-9 overtook me a couple of times on the straight but was not faster over all.
On the subject of the paint job - My EXUP was imported from Italy (I am in the UK) so I don't know if it was a non UK standard. The only others I have seen like it here are Red White and Blue.
Ton - Up's looks in glorious condition (Shouldn't that be Ton 50 up ). Mine has a cracked fairing where some doughnut has tightened the fasteners too much.
Nice to see another specimen in the same livery!

Hiras, mine has a few nicks and scratches etc when you get up close, but then you'd have to expect that from a 15 year old bike. The name Ton up was thought up in a hurry, my wife keeps telling me how dorky it is- I'm getting a complex.

At the only track day I've done with mine there were no r1's etc there, it was a training day before the start of the new racing season and in typically Kiwi fashion it wasn't well advertised. The only bikes that were getting past me in a straight line were the instructors GSR1000 and Aprilia RSV production superbikes. The 600 racers were waiting untill the braking areas- very humbling! My bike needs a better rider to get ti it's full potential, not the other way around , but I'm working on it!
