It'll probably be the 95. I think it will be better able to handle the abuse. I'll be throwing on a new set of rubber too. I don't trust the d207's that are on it now despite little wear.
-John
95 FZR1000
90 FZR1000
90 FZR1040

Have the 208's on mine and didn't have a problem. Get them done right before the track day that way they will be real fresh, also don't worry about break in. You'll find out like I did that you have them broken in before you even start to push them on the track. You'll do the new rider meeting then go out for a follow the leader session (about 15 laps at street speed) then first riding session after that at about 3/4 speed to get comfy on the track. After that it will be about 1 - 2 laps at 3/4 speed to re-warm the tires, then its balls to the walls and have fun. New tires break in real quick and easy when at about 31 PSI for the track. My rear tire had ZERO miles when I went on the track and had no problem with it. Also have been hearing alot of good reports about the Michelin Pilot Powers may try them next time. If you mount tires yourself check with "Karaya One" on NESR for a deal on them. If you don't I have the stands and tire tools but you will need to get them balanced. If we do it that way can figure a day trip for mounting/balancing them. Seeing that I usually have Sun - Tues off.
Jim

95 FZR1000

I've always said bikes make a better ride. You can ride them for however long you want to and you don't have to cuddle with them afterwards
Nate - 87 FZR1000

Have you seen my fairing?
