Hi,
nice bike, like the colour scheme as well.
Could I suggest while you have the motor out, fitting a YZF 750 6 speed gearbox. They are a lot sweeter than the 5 speed box, it's a straight swop.
yours Slip.

Hi Slip, I was actually considering that. I'm splitting the cases anyway to fix my rattling hi-vo chain and I heard a lot of nice words about that gearbox. I can get one from a 750R, but is there any difference between the gearbox on 750R and 750SP?
Snow and salt sucks

Yes there is but you're not going to be able to find a tranny from an SP anyway.............
Nice ride by the way!

Jim<img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ... Cheers.gif ALT=":cheers">

Hi,
only real difference is that sp is close ratio (tuned 750) and r is standard road g/box. T/ace having power and mid range prefers r g/box.
Hope that helps,
yours Slip.

You guys just know everything, thanks. Saw one on ebay not long ago, went for $280, all included. Not bad.
Snow and salt sucks

I thought you might notice that.

My user name used to be 3le1002, but I sold my 90' fizzer and bought the Tace instead. And now my user name don't match anymore so I changed it to none type related one.
Meaning that 3le1002 and funtexx is the same person.
Replaced pics on bikepics.com yesterday.

<img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/ ...
