I have to say that the service reputation that follows Ducati's isn't nearly as bad as they deserve. Most people have heard that the adjustments have to be made every 6000 miles, which is about 2 years worth of riding for me on this bike. The service ran me $550 this winter. I consider that a pretty small price for the grin factor I get out of this bike. I actually traded a CBR929 for this bike. The 929 was boring. I went in to the Ducati dealership and ask what they would give me off the floor for my 929, and this is what they traded me. Off course she didn't look like this when I got her, but the internet is full of aftermarket parts for these bikes.
