We've all heard the story of the guy who runs out of gas in the country, and the little old lady whose house he walks to tells him she has some gas in the barn. Out in the barn he finds a car covered with dust. Under the dust is a 1964 427 AC Cobra. She tells him that her son that passed away had bought the car many years ago....she would sell it to him for $1000 unless that was too much. This bike is my barn find.

Awesome find RD! It even came with the very rare matching factory seat cowl too.

No, actually it was in Cincy. And the guy told me he has been trying to sell it for a year. Why no one else bought it is beyond me.

RD, there is a clean FZR 400 for sale in Cali for around 1500, check craiglist Los Angeles Area.

I didn't see the FZR400, but I did see a Honda RVF400 and an 81 GPZ550 (one of my favorite old classic bikes). You California guys get all the good stuff!

This 400 is in Phoenix.
