Sounds like the public is determined to keep you on a project bike. Good luck with the rebuild. Ride safe !

cheers mate :) just need to make it law to ride a motorcycle for 2 yrs before you can get into a car. That way people will know how to drive properly.

its always women drivers that seem to cause me to come off, even the sheep was a female :P

A new addition i picked up today. A 1993 model in colin edwards replica paint scheme i belive. Needs a good clean and a new battery, plugs, for seal etc but otherwise its fine and dandy

Just have to get time now to paint the top fairing on the other one now.

Hi Tim,
Not been online very much lately. I spend most weekends away from early march until the end of Oct so I tend to spend the weekday evenings trying to do all the jobs that I'm supposed to do at weekends.
Been spending quite a bit of time preparing stuff for my claim against my employers for my accident last year. I'm due back at the hospital next week for another assesment of my eye so hopefully they may be able to give me some idea when they can operate to remove the cataract, and hopefully do something to make my eye focus a little better.
As a result of the accidednt my pupil is enlarged so its pretty uncomfortable in the sun. I have to wear dark glasses pretty much all the time to shield it from the light.
I've still not ridden since the accident, but theres always hope! :)

Mate I hope you take them to cleaners, eyes are one of the most important things. That eye looks bad in the pics in your signature. I know of a bloke by me that rides with a single eye, I imagine it is pretty hard to judge distance thought without the two eyes.

best of luck to you, if you loose burn the place down

Not much chance of me loosing. They're admitted full liability. I've just got to push from every angle to make sure I get as much as possible out of it. No amount of money will fix my eye, but it can sure help take my mind of it.
