Dutch FZR1000 streetfighter
See if i can post a few pics of my Fizzer 1000 project which i have start building almost 2 years ago:
Still a shitload of things to do, but when the new engine mounts are welded and the frame is powdercoated i finally can start assembly.

Thanks,
Yes i have used a 2003 R1 gas tank which looks a lot better compared to the ugly lump of metal fitted originally. The gas tank it is lifted at the rear to get a forward leaning agressive look, and then it is modified to fit flush to the exup frame beams.
The rear clip is a 2005 R1 unit, but shortened bij a good 3 inches. The original clip is way too long for a fighter so it was cut into 11 pieces and melted back together.
Other mods so far:
Engine: Thunderace head + TPS carbs + wiring & ignition, YZF750R 6-speed trannie, mechanical clutch conversion, engine completely blasted/painted and rebuild.
Frame: heavily modified to fit the RSV Mille swingarm, rear shockabsorber brackets replaced 40 mm off-centre to fit the shock and up-pipe for the seatpipes. Custom made subframe. Engine mounts replaced by Thunderace mounts. Brackets for steering damper welded.
Suspension: Kawa ZX10R USD forks with black ceramic coating, radial brakes with 2005 R1 discs, RSV swingarm, custom made CNC upper triple tree, Bitubo racing shock absorber, 2005 R1 wheels and 200 sized rear tire.
And another long list of modified parts....
This will be the final modification:
