Just goes to show how greedy companies are now.<br>They want 110% control of everthing. <br><br>Can they not see we are fans of the GP and they would be nothing without us. <p></p><i></i>

Unfortunately I have to disagree. As a photographer I am quite aware of copyright issues. Look at it like this, if I photographed Tim's wedding, I would retain the copyrights, right ? Now that we're in the digital age I can post high resolution images on my site for Tim to view. I put them in a password protected database so that Tim might be able to order prints. Now if Tim gives all of his family members access to the images, my copyrights are valueless. We all like to get paid for our work.

Unfortunately piracy is rampant and they have to do what they have to do to protect their own interests. Unfortunately if you make exceptions then it leads to larger and larger exceptions.

MotoGP still pisses me off. Paying nearly $80 to be able to watch the race live and ONE replay is a friggin joke. I may consider forking over the money if a program like Fraps could capture the video....you know, for my own personal use

I record them on TIVO and can later download them onto my PC over the network and watch them there using TIVO software. I usually don't bother though--I just keep them on the TIVO (I put a big fdrive in awhile ago and it stores 200 hours or so).

I'm wondering if the TIVO faormt is encrypted in some way or if I can view it using mediaplayer or the like.

Wouldn't it be great for fans/bummer for Dorna if all the races showed up as a bittorrent download!

They are, but not the actuall MotoGP broadcast. The files download fast too. I have all 3 races (125, 250, 800) of this year.
