When did he do a 1.06 Steve. And wouldn't that be on the 1100 or on your T not the New Era 750 ?? My point being, looking at the Rnd 1 P6 750 times for the both of them, it should be close racing! Not to mention some of the other guys whose pace is gathering...pace!

Last year Rob was consistanly in the 7s & realed of a high 6 on the 750. The 1100 is a tad slower around Wakefield. He had a lot of trouble at the last round, as the bike was set for me to ride & I got crook & didnt ride it. So Rob quickly ready'd the 750 & took it out for a shake down run. Thats why he had a few issues with it.Dont worry we wont see which way he went. :hissy I hope he rides the 1100 this round..
I'll be happy to wobble around in the 10s!

No sickle44 I won the Championship on the T model, which was sold the day after the last race that rapped up the series.
I still have the sweet old 1990 sitting in the garage looking pretty. But I will sell it also. To the right buyer, as it will be a logbooked P6 bike.
The funny thing is I was only .2 of a second faster on the T superbike, compairted to the near standard L model?? Dont ask me? I just really gell with the old bike, it feels like your old Dunlop vollys, they just fit so well.
I think that was the key to me & the bike. The T was superfast & much faster than I could ever ride. But the L model is more hands on sort of bike, very much like the FZR, you have to ride it, not just sit there & let it do the work..
As for the Barry Sheene.?? Its possable, but unlikely. If I still have the L & I feel I want to do it I will, but at this stage I dont. The Island Classic would be great, but again "if I want to" & still have a bike its possable, but unlikely..

Kiwi,

The big news for us right now is P6 750 and 1000's getting an invitational slot in the Island Classic. We're hoping that a Kiwi contingent will make it over with some P6 bikes as well as the usual P5 stuff. How do we get in touch with all the NZ P6 racers????

Here's the email address of the NZPCRA President, Kevin Grey:

He'll take it from there.

I'd say 10 or 12 definites, 4 or 5 probables, 4 or 5 maybes. Close, but we need more than that to be comfortable with it

I know what you're saying about fitting the bike Steve and relate to that quite well. I took my buddy's CBR1000RR out a while back and was immediately faster on it and left him well behind me, but my bike felt much more like home to me opposed to his. That'd be why I'm dumping, or dumped I suppose, all kinds of money into parts for a bike I haven't even ridden since 2006 or 7, can't remember. When I do get the time to rebuild it, it's going to be fun for sure!!
