WHO'S GOING TO BE THERE?

Post by kiwi60 »

Just thought I'd try to get an idea of who will be around at the Barry Sheene Festival of speed next weekend.

I'll be in Sydney from Tuesday 29th and am staying at the Travel Lodge in Blacktown.

Duke22 (Lyle) is arriving on Thursday morning and also has a room booked at the Travel Lodge.

Obviously, we'll be set up in the kiwi race camp so come by and say gidday.

The pre-race nerves / excitment has already started to set in, and I'm really looking forward to getting out for the practice day on friday :banana :banana :banana :banana :banana

Steve,

Are you sure they are awarding the 750's separately?? I thought it was one class like the (recent) old days

You've got more info that we have...

Are you going to be at the Friday practice day?

I need someone to try to keep up with and follow round ;)

Yeah, I got an email late last week and he was still putting the final touches to it, but am still hoping he'll make it.

All the best with the move South for you and the family, as you'll know from the other year, it's a big thing to get sorted, but I'm sure it'll all come together for you.

Will do Stuart, we'll be there lunch time on Thursday (I'm already in Blacktown) to unpack the containers at get the pits set up.

I just loved the 30 minute thunder storm this arvo - now THAT could be fun at the track. :)
