Team NZ packed the container for PI this morning. Only two P6 bikes in the end (sorry Jason), yours truly with the FZR and Pete Smith's Gixxer11. Two P5 seniors (GSX1100 and MacIntosh GSX) and eight P5 juniors (all TZs), and that's it for this year - sadly quite a few last minute dropouts.

The container gets shipped in a couple of days and (hopefully) will be sitting in the pits at PI in about two weeks. Counting down... :cool

Hey Duke, don't worry about that, we got enough to run P6 (just!), you'll be there, we'll be there, all is well!! In fact it may have been your overseas entries that sealed it. I'm busy getting a few things done to the VFR and a few of us here running P6 at the IC are starting to get pretty damn excited. Look forward to catching up with you.

A bit hot for painting. You can't pick up metal at that temperature. Wait for a nice mild dry day and the paint wont boil...

I'm looking forward to hopefully getting to say hello to everyone over the weekend. If any of you need a hand with anything just shout out... I'll probably be in the bar :)

I'm the same Steve. Would like to go down but can't justify the costs just to watch. Look forward to reading about.

(I received the paperwork for the Barry Sheene Festival of Speed in the mail the other day. I will be going to that one :D )

Not sure I will be - $400 entry fee plus garage. However if I get my 250 going I would get 12 races, so maybe....err....petrol costs from Melbourne, sundry junk food en route, liquor, new underpants, tyres, bogan tattoo, yep should just make it.

Yep it is a bit steep but I am justifying it by not doing much local stuff this year. :)
bogan tattoo

If you think $400 is a bit steep, doing the BSFOS last year left me bugger all change from $5000, but it WAS worth it :)

Fair point Kiwi!

Steve, there will be a few of us from Vic going to the Barry Sheene and there will be big P6 fields, the biggest in the country so far. Here's the link to the entry form:

http://www.barrysheene.com.au/files/doc ... 20regs.pdf

So 4 x 5 lap races, pretty similar deal / format / program to the island Classic. But if you had a 750 instead of a 1000 you'd get 8 races!

how many bikes go into one of the garages at EC? $250???

4 with plenty of room, 6 at a bit of a squeeze, I've seen more but not advisable. Say 5 at $50 each is ok.

What's the extended Eastern Creek circuit like? Longer obviously but better? Or just a lot more slow corners?
