I was having a look on the DiscoVolanti website today and came across these Tarozzi Rear sets, and they have a sets that will fit our bikes

Nice looking units, decent price. Well worth the extra tenner for the folding option IMO, but alas, as usual, nothing for the Ace.

I bought some of these for a YZF750 a while back. They stuck out a lot and scraped badly. See pic below.

I like the strategically placed chair. One need to be able to sit, ponder, and admire, whilst enjoying a beverage :)

I've heard of draggin the back brake around corners, but man, have you taken it to another level

Used to be my smoking chair. Now I have given them up I can't sit in that chair any more, makes me want to light up to help with the pondering :)

Whilst I was using dangerous levels of lean angle when I had these on they still stick out too far ;)

Well... yes was going to mention that after 50 degrees or so they fall over :)

Hey Spook,

If there is enough interest in these put forth, I'm down for at least one set for sure, are the 750 & the 1000 the same btw?, I'd be more than happy to do a group buy on them. 'lessn' of course you'd like to do so, don't want to step on your toes is all.

You don't race your ace though Jon, so I'd think you'd just need a set for you 750 yeah, or no?

Cheers, let me know

I don't? Hmm, d'you know something I don't? Like what 750 are you talking about?

The Ace pegs and 750 pegs are not compatible, and I've removed my rearset adaptors as they were too drastic and I couldn't actually move any further off the bike as I was sitting on my heel and crushing my toes while I still needed to move over more, so they didn't work out. Compared to a lot of other makes out there, the price is tempting, but not for me.

That's actually 53 degrees of lean by my calculations

Bike making contact at those angles would just about lift the rear wheel contact patch off the ground...

Yes indeed! You have to have your knee down because it is sandwiched between the road and the fairings

Hmm Lean=Risk. Looks like moving your body over will get you less lean for the same corner speed, or same lean with more corner speed.

There's a reason this guy is waaaay faster than me, and it's not because he's on a Honda,

it's cuz he weighs 1/2 what I do,

no wait,

there's a difference in talent too. And riding style. Oh, and age. Disposable income, hmmm, never mind, you'll see what I mean.

You and me both Jon, everytime I thought I was getting right over and just hovering my knee off the deck, Duke22 would point out that I was still inches away - mind you, I still beat him in the championship :shh:

I thought it was a 750 you raced Jon? Oh well. show's what I know.

I believe CBR 954 rearsets are supposed to bolt on to the FZR's or YZF's think it was the 1000 can't remember
