I'm not surprised, he said in a press release late last year it was almost time for him to go get a real job!! his main push in that article was the dumbing down of the factory bikes to narrow the gap to the CRT bikes, he said he wanted to ride the best bikes as fast as he could..

I guess when you look at the bigger picture for Casey, his been on the road most of his life, winning numerous dirt bike titles across Australia before heading over seas to try his luck at the tender age of 15/16

He is already among the elite in the sports history: podiums, wins, titles (for different manufactures, a very elite club) and might just head out the back door with another one tucked nicely under his arm

For mine, i'll be sad to see him go, his ability to ride a motorcycle, at the limit, with finesse, style and class has been a pleasure to watch

An alien, amongst aliens

I was only saying the other day to my new maybe girlfriend, (when she said our relationship might not be for ever) that I had been married for 10 years and that felt like it was forever.

Ironic that the shortest sentence precedes the longest.

A man is not complete until he is married...... then he's finished!

Casey spoke to Daryl Beattie for our GP coverage on Sunday night, he gave everyone in the MotoGP organisation a fair old wack, said they were a bunch of back stabbing barstards and he can't wait to get out the door. If he was to continue, it would be for the job. Beattie also indicated he couldn't get out the door quick enough, and didn't get on a bike for years after his career had finished

I've got nothing......my wife sits up with me and watches Moto GP, actively encouraged me to get back on a motorcycle, so my 15 year "sentence" has been all good :hijack

Yeah, but that means he's been racing for 21 years. Neither of us have had the same job for that long, have we?

He turns 27 this year, and started racing dirt bikes at age 4, between the ages of nine to fourteen, Casey had won 41 dirt and long track titles, including 70 state titles. He left Oz for Europe at age 14, so the kid has been racing at a very high level for almost all his life
