After an 8yr hiatus, I'm back racing motorcycles.
Last weekend was the first time back on the track on 2 wheels. Took the school on sat (havent had a license in over 5 yrs and had to take the school over per the rules). Sunday did 2 races. Got a 5th in the rookie cup and a 3rd in LW Formula 40. Still have some work on the bike to do suspension wise. Next races at teh end of june.

Last weekend, another 3rd in LW F40 and 6th in LWGP. Didnt do the rookie cup. Way to freaking insane having everythign from 125 smokers to liter bikes going aroun in one race. Plus T1 and T7 at BHF were pretty tore up and slick as snot. Extremely hot out. People were doing stupid things due to the heat. One guy passed out whil racing and fell off. His bike ghost rode to the next station before bouncing into the berm.

Best thing about the YZF is that will just crush a 125 if it comes up on the inside... more like a speed hump than a motorcycle...

Yeah but I race a SV650.
BTW another 3rd place in LWF40 and a 4th (twin sprint weekend). Would of had 2nd in the sun race but it stopped raining.
3rd overall in LWF40am. LWGP think I'm 8th or 9th.

Good yo see you back out there and in the thick of it, one strange sounding piece of advice that changed the way I ride, both on track and the street: "Steer with your chin". Relax your neck and exaggerate how far you're looking around the corner. The rest of you and your bike will follow. But most of all, have FUN!

Another 3rd in LWF40 (maybe tied for 2nd overall in this class.
) and 4th in LWGP.
And have a slight boo boo. unloaded the bike, got everything set up. Registered. Then put my boots on, grabbed my leathers, helmet and gloves to go to tech. Put the leathers on the tank, helmet on like a beanie and wore the gloves. Got teh bike off the rear stand and went to get on. Well I caught the tail section with my foot and caused the bike to lean away from me. Down to went taking me along with it. Left peg ran across my left calf scrapping the hell out o fit. Looks worse than it is.
