big step to throw away a championship chance like that. this shit going on with Casey must be more serious than first thought. I can't remember EVER, a championship contender pulling the pin for anything but a broken bone(s)

On the bright side, i hope Kallio makes the most of his oppertunities, this is a big brake for a talented young rider

Go Casey

I was hoping to see a battle royal between Stoner, Rossi & Lorenzo till the end of the year, but his health has to come first.

The last time I remember something like this happening was when Freddie Spencer has to pull out of GP racing beacuse of arm pump.

:sad

Yeah, this is NOT how I wanted to see Yamaha defeat Ducati.
Best luck to him, hope they figure out what is wrong and a treatment,
maybe this can improve treatment for ordinary people suffering the
same thing too (whatever it is).

I have a suspicion it might be CFS brought on by the virus,
my Mum has got CFS, any publicity around that is good because
there are still a lot of doctors who don't believe it is a genuine
medical issue, let alone finding treatment. I remember when we
finally found her a good specialist in it, I came home to find her
outside the house enjoying the garden for the first time in 15 years,
of course it was very emotional. I hope Casey recovers quickly because
it'd be a real tragedy to see his talent shot down so early. I reckon he's
got potential for half-a-dozen more world championships...

I know exactly what you mean cam, my wife got CFS not long after we were married 23 years ago and had to stop work - bit difficult just after you've just bought your first home and lost 1/2 the incoming $$$.

It can take weeks, months, and sometimes; many many years to get over it (as it did in our case), and the only way we found was to take all stress out of the sufferers life style, and give them the opportunity to recover - no matter how long it takes.

I hope Casey is given this option; if this is the cause of his problems.

Life has a not so funny way of blind sliding you every once in a while, but what does not destroy you, will ultimatly make you stronger. :)
