red light on rev counter

i recently had fairing clocks etc of my fzr400 1wg the rev counter and temp gauge bulbs had blown so i re placed them ,now when i hit 8000rpm red light onrev counter appears,and stays on until i drop below 8000rpm again. is this normal or is something up .does anyone know? <p></p><i>Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub28.ezboard.com/bexupbrotherho ... dddsdec</A> at: 8/31/03 1:25 pm<br></i>
