94 1000 Gauges
I have been talking with Allan, the guy that has been advertising his LED gear indicators, and was wondering who has taken apart these gauges. Specificly the warning light (turn, oil, neutral, fuel, high beam) part of them. Is the bar that holds these lights removable or is it part of the mold when the cluster was made?

Thanks,

Tim
Director of Entertainment (eddieandthecrusiersmc.com).

Re: gages
Jim,
LEDGear, I think is the name of Allan's company, makes a shift indicator that also has all of the warning lights. To make it fit nicely, was wondering if the whole light bar can be removed from the gauges. All of the said lights are incorporated into the indicator assembly. Going for a clean fit if I can.

Tim
Dir. of Entertainment (eddieandthecrusiersmc.com).

Re: Lites
well...i ordered a spare set gauage cluster from ebay and should arrive this week. I'll see if I can tinker a bit and find out OR will be checking here to see any hints...

I have corresponded with Allen as well and it looks hopeful that I will be able to at least swap out the face plates for nice clean look, perhaps white or a nice blue. Stock is very plain and "80's camaro f14 phantom stylistic!!!" Is it just me that remembers the mid 80's camaro redesign for the cockpit was inspired by the f14 cockpit? or was it the f16 u get the idea! thats what my 90 cluster looks like!
