I been having a bit of a look on ebay and there are quite a few sets of 'budget' rearsets available these days, but none listed for the FZR.
As these can be a consumable item (if it all goes wrong on the track), I'm not really iterested in the high dollar items, but a couple of sub $100 sets wouldn't go amiss, so, can anybody tell me if rearsets from a late model bike has the same mounting hole spacing as the '88 FZR (59mm)?
Cheers

I bought some Yoshimura rearsets for the FZR and they were off a CBR. Can't remember which one now though. The only thing I had to modify was the end of the brake piston as the forked one off the FZR wouldn't line up. I ended up cutting the two 'fork' prongs off the threaded collar, then I welded one back on again in the middle.
The rearsets were very flexible, so much so you noticed how the whole lot bent and twisted when you loaded weight in a corner (I weigh 87kilos).
I ended up having some copies lazer cut out of sheet steel. In the overall scheme of things it isn't a whole heap of extra weight and they certainly didn't move anymore!

If you're going to take a shot at me let me know so I can duck...!
