FZR1000 EXUP Emulsion toobs group buy

Post by Stig »

Sorry this isnt in the for sale section but wanted to reach as many folk as possible

I've been asked to supply new Needles and Emulsion toobs again for the 1000 EXUP model (all years 89-95 BD38ST carbs)

Does anyone want any. I get a small discount on counter prices if I have enough interested parties. These are genuine Mukuni jets in the OEM specs and jet sizes so not suitable if you've Dyno jetted and wish to keep your new setting

Prices to be confirmed once I have an idea of the sort of numbers but approx costs are

needles - £37.20 to UK post
toobs - £54.00 to UK post
full set - £89.40 to UK post

Of course I'll post overseas at cost!

so, lets have some numbers plz folks

I would love to take a set off your hands, but I need the YZF750 (Mikuni BDST38/4) needles, which appear not to be similar to the FZR1000 (Mikuni BDSR38/4) needles (surprise).

OEM part numbers I found:
Tubes (YZF750 & FZR1000): 3GM-14141-90-00, 3GM-14141-92-00, 3GM-14141-94-00
Needle YZF750: 4LE-1490J-00-00
Needle FZR1000: 3LK-1490J-00-00

Can you supply YZF750 needles as well?

Other Mikuni trivia:
B=Diaphragm Type
D=Downdraft Application
R=Radial slide
T=Flatslide
No idea what the S stands for.
Intelligence is alcohol soluble.

problem is... the supplier uses the mukuni part numbers not the Yamaha parts cat numbers and they state theres several different fitments for the 750

It'd be a chance to get the right ones without being able to match them up
