Nos kit on fzr exup

Post by canappa »

Really want to fit one, I read some more info and the Nos kit seem isnt the best option, the Highpower kit seem safer, as have better solenoids, but any suggestion is welcome. also would put dyna coil as the nos may require stronger spark, found a place that sell them for $114 a pair and about $20 for the suppression wires. Im looking for 25-50 hp gain, that seem safe if some precaution check are done before fit the nos. the only doubt is where to fit the bottle.....

some link
www.noswizar ...
<a href="http://www.streetfighters-usa.com/nos_f ...
<a href="http://www.dynaonline.com/english/coils ...
www. ...
<a href="http://www.pro-flo.com/proflo_dyna_acc_ ...

Excellent NOS site

Take a good look at this site. Even if you don't build your own, you will understand what is a good design and what isn't and what to look out for.

Good luck and please post your results! A lot of folks get great info from some really smart people on this board, but they don't give any feed back as to what worked and what didn't.

Cheers, Chris

Nos kit on fzr exup

Post by canappa »

Hi, i ave read a lot in the big guy from uk site, he explain about all how to built and setup nos, but i think i will go with a highpower kit as it seem the best and safest, i really dont wont mess something building my own and destroy the fzr engine....ive built rc model for 24 years include dragsters so im good on build and tune things, but there are a lot of trial and error in setup a nos from scratch so best avoid error and lot of money in engine rebuilt....anyway i will fit it next spring or during winter, have to do some other job to bike before its ready for the nos: steering stem bearing change, fork valve tuning, factory carb kit fitting and tuning, sprocket and chain replacement....and other little thing....hope to have the nos tuned and running for next summer or late spring at best......anyway for 50 hp extra worth the wait!

thx canap
