EXUP SEXUP
Has anyone tried putting an Exup header off of an R1 onto a YZF 750? I'm curious because I'm wondering if the the newer Exup headers are lighter than 13.5 pounds. It would be a good way to shave some weight and keep the Exup valve.

If I remember correctly the exhasust port spacing is off by enough it wouldn't work. But don't quote me on that.

Tim
<img src="http://img69.photobucket.com/albums/v20 ...
Has anyone seen my keys?
Dir. of Entertainment Eddie & the Cruisers

Re: EXUP SEXUP
R1 engine has camchain on engine side, while yzf/fzr has chain in the middle. so there will be a difference in spacing.
however if you buy an R1 pipe, that has movable headers it just might be possible. i know that R1 type engine is lower, so the pipe is likely to collide with your oilsump etc and the most pressing matter is that it will _not_ give you the power increase that you expect to get from spending 500+$ to your bike. go on and buy an bigbore-kit
