Has anyone attached a Sigma bike computer to their bike? If so, can you put up some pics of how you secured the magnet and sender to the wheel...
I have the sender on my lower fork, and the magnet on the disc, however it works for about 5 miles then just gives up. Not sure if it's because I'm using the wrong magnet http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0016521965 or what??

I had one on the FZ750, no problems, very handy for service intervals etc and good for 300kph! I used a magnet glued to the disk (strong) and minimum clearance between the magnet and the pick-up. Pick-up was Silasticed to the leg. Will be putting back on when the bike is finished. Cheers
The magnet I used was a 8ml round end out of a pick-up tool (sort of thing you use to pick up dropped nuts bolts etc). I only allowed at the most a 1mm between the two, probably less. Move it in a bit and you may have some luck.
as a bicycle racer for the past 15 years or so, i am familiar with these things. you gotta have minimal clearance between the magnet and the sensor or the readings will be off. just fyi...
