Spook,
What type are you thinking for the OW01? OEM or like a YEC one piece setup with ram air duct?

Re: Is it me or?
Yes, I agree, it's been kinda slow on the board lately. We need someone to start a new build thread (Spook / Julian / Antidot / Sickle / Mike_SS / Kiwi / stan / Thomvis) or post some YZF750 at a trackday details! P.S. if someone has a copy of the May issue of Practical Sportsbikes send me a PM!!!!! ...

Steve, The Susuckme will be a fun tool! I had a 02 GSXR1000 set up by KWS and I hated it, was faster on the YZF, believe it or not. Well, I will see this weekend, I have a promise, but am taking the bike back regardless (13 months later than promised). Fingers crossed! I will be at Barber on the 15t...

Was wondering the same thing. It's all politics, I expect after the trips to the U.S. this year that Americans will get back in the saddle. Most race teams are owned and sponsored by non-Americans, so, unless it benefits the sponsors or the manufacturers......... Spies would have been a shoe in, but...

Sup Steve! Is the engine ready? Let me know what your summer plans are, I'll make tracks to the northeast sometime this year. Would love to see your ride and get some duo YZF750 action on the modern bikes at the track! Will get some pics posted, been 16 months since I've seen the bike so it will be ...

Tango
I'm about ready to dive into my YZF750 with a thunderace engine I picked up and it does the Tacho tango. I haven't gone too deep, but if anybody has the definative answers..... I've talked to some reputable faces and they are wrong, so hopefully after I dig into the bike I'll figure it out. No worri...

I have YZF750SP OE flatsides on one of my OW01's, no issues. All of K's flatsides are the same minus the spacing and the diameter of the intake tube. A repuatable tuner should be able to get the parts to make a set fit your bike.

OW01
Tough to say with out knowing the history of the engine. But the OW01 came stock with at the time was a race piston, 2 rings if memory serves me right, and they will lose their seal on the cylinder well before your average YZF750 or FZR1000. The nature of the race beast. Do a compression test. If th...

Konto, Do you race the YZF? If not you need to get into racing with WERA in the Vintage 7 Heavy Weight Class (V7). When I get back this fall I will be prepping the YZF750 and racing at the local rounds. The V7 guys are great, and it's more about sportsmanship, and having fun than the must win attitu...

Power Pack
I've always been curious as to what a PP brings to the table, performance wise. Has anyone ever put thier bike on a dyno for a base line then plugged in a power pack and then did some runs with the different settings and seen if there is any actual performance advantage? I did this with my OW01 with...
