Tesla,poor response,failing to run off idle w/out choke is usally plugged pilot jet/s/circuit. unfortunatly, access/cleaning means r&r carbs.... the pilot jet orifice's are miniscule, and often plug after sitting after as little over a month. luck G

John, top and 2nd ring both steel, top ring is ususlly chrome plated, 2nd high carbon steel(black) stamping at end gap on ring is up, sometimes w/ T designating upper ring, on staggered rings sometimes rings are different height demisions check clearances in landes. hope this helps G

Like Shoie for racing and Arai for street, Local club requires new lid every couple years and Shoie cost @ 1/2 of Arai tho comfort and noise level are worlds appart. for dirt, HJC is the lightest , most comfortable lid I.ve encountered.G
