front fork agony

I have pondered the same issue myself for many hours. The best value for the dollar spent in my opinion would be to swap a zx-12r front end onto the FZR. (Mine is 92 as well). This would necessitate some professional assistance regarding the steering head bearings, but I do think it is a viable opti...

When was the last time your valves were adjusted?

I had the same problem with my bike and it was because the valves were so badly out of adjustment that a feeler gauge(way smaller than spec) wouldn't even fit between the bucket and cam base circle. The intake valves weren't closing all the way when hot.

Re: Mirror Replacement

Just mounted a set of Emgo YZF 600 mirrors. Fantastic upgrade. I highly recommend this mod to everyone. They don't vibrate at all. Rear vis is a huge improvment and they look ten times better than those stock pieces of s**t. DR.

Re: clutch and more

Thank you very much jjs777 for taking the time to repeat what you have written before for others. Since the big FZR's use a relatively gentle steering head angle, I had my doubts as to whether it would cause severe handling problems lifting the back end. Thanks again. I'm a Ford guy too.

...

Re: clutch and more

Hello everyone, greetings from Whistler, BC, Canada.

I'm quite glad I looked at this thread because I was investigating altering my dog bones to give more rear ride height. A local shop has strongly advised against it, as they felt it would severely affect high speed stability. (speed wobbles...
