Re: We've lost another one
It's very sad to hear this.
I read his articles that he writes in the motor section for the Saturday paper.
He will be missed by many.

I remember I always wanted a IT250K back in 1986 but ended up with a 350 YPVS instead! The YZ was the moto x version, where the IT (international trials) was the enduro version. Apart from the enduro kit (lights, trip meter etc) the only major difference between the two I think was the YZ had a 4 sp...

I had to look up the Sykes Pickavant brake bleeder , doesn't look that high-tech, just a catch can. I'm using a vacuum operated bleeder found on Ebay . You put the hose on the bleed nipple, apply air-pressure, open the nipple and watch the fluid drain from the reservoir, topping it up before it rea...

Kiwi, I still reckon power coating is the go. I'm a bit of a convert now I have had a bunch of it done on my TL project. My local guy does wheels for a fixed price of $40 each, that includes blasting and masking etc. For the cost I don't even bother getting out the paint. It adheres better than pai...

I can remember my RD125. It was a brand new LC mark 2 in black & red bought in 1986. What a great bike they were, I learned alot riding that bike, it also got me through both parts of my bike test. Sold it to a friend to buy a 350 YPVS who later on crashed it into a ditch! :sad You don't see many ab...

This sucks. We have lost another super chap to this cruel world. I think my last post to him was asking him to include some pics of his bike so that I could look out for him (being just down the road from him), guess that won't happen now. My deepest Condolences to his family and friends. :sad...
