i think i like it better as a streetfighter :X. the tail didn't really match and it could have used a new speedo.

but then i am partial to fighters. but a good job getting her back to stock. had the previous owner wrecked it?

looks pretty sweet. bone stock too by the looks. just get rid of those yellow headlight covers/lenses and you'll be set. not to mention the ugly fender, reflectors, and stock signals ;)

still really bare. ordered the seat and got a new set of right switchgear on the way thanks to haunter. found some badass LED taillights at this site http://customdynamics.com/motorcycle_lights.htm got a new set of bridgestone BT-016s being put on this week. think i'll be painting most of the frame ...

so it's been a while since i updated this thread. got a couple new pics and new direction for my rat. i've decided to turn it into a bobber. i'm finally starting to get some work done on it since putting it up for the winter. i tore the subframe off today and am waiting on an 03 R6 seat to get here ...

dropped the motor today. adjusting valves, fixing trans, and rebuilding carbs over the winter.

where did you get that tail anyway? i'm looking for ideas for my 1000 fighter. so far i've been considering a 99-05 R6, 99-03 R1, 2004-2007 CBR1000RR, some sort of custom euro tail, or a bobber.

beautiful bike. i wish i could afford a spondon frame for my streetfighter. hell i wish i could get half the shit i want/need for it to be complete.
