Re: My progress! :)

Yep - its me! I'm doing okay - busy with kids and work. No time to ride - hectic schedule. Kids are 11,8 and 4. The four year old keeps me busy. I still have my bikes. They all need carb work to get running - I've tried several times but something just keeps them from running smooth. Need to take th...

facebook parenting - gone viral

Dad experiences the worse day of his life when he reads his daughters post that she wrote on facebook. Of course many American's are all upset crying gun control blah blah blah and bad parenting. I side with the dad although if it were me I would have left off the video piece. I read the guys fb pag...

Re: Hello

I stand corrected - it wasn't Timbo that Tim disliked - it was the use of "Mr. Tim".

Right Mr. Tim ?

:roflmao

I may just get banned for this - we'll see.

Re: The "New Look"

Thanks for the upgrade Hooli. Can you please adjust the Login time back to 60 minutes instead of whatever the default with this new version is? Thanks. I checked the board settings and couldn't find the threshold value that would relate to your 60 minute issue. Could this be more to do with the bro...

Staying Warm in the Winter

It's 12F with a windchill feel of 7F here in the Boston area. Since dealing with the cold is a part of life here...I've been getting into the alternative heat to save money on fuel bills and to enjoy a nice fire at the same time. In 2006 I expanded my house and if I were to heat with natural gas/for...

Re:

Hello back. And since we're onto nothing, a couple of weeks back I got a new garage door. No big deal, but it messed up my not so organized garage layout even more. My two bikes are not completely assembled, so fairing all over the place, wood chips and saw dust from the old door everywhere, stuff ...

Re: The "New Look"

Thanks Hooli Since I can no longer find my black theme available as one of the options I'm going to go all 'user' and say revert back to previous version. Seriously - thx for spending the time. Tim if you have 'time' to do things like 'skiing' then you prolly have the time to go grab a book and read...

Steve Jobs ~Remembered~

www.apple.com I started around 10 years old on a Sinclair ZX81 micro computer. Then my dad bought me a Apple IIe in 1984. I was 13 then... No one helped me do anything with the pc and I put it together myself. Somehow - that little Apple changed my life. I can remember in HS my guidance counselors t...

2003 Monte Carlo SS

Bought my brothers SS back in March and have spent the last three months fixing all the things that needed fixing. I had a beautiful 1984 Monte back in '87 and well...although completely different this car brought me right back to fun times. I picked it up with 206k miles on the odometer and the mot...

found the piece I referred to on wiki Reputation The TL1000R's sibling, the TL1000S, was widely known as a "widow-maker".[3] Some riders crashed, and blamed the bike's instability. Although Suzuki claimed that they fixed this problem on the TL-R, the reputation stuck and Suzuki reported "sub-optimal...

from what I read - the tillers had a instability problem causing folks to crash whether it was just the rider or the geometry...seems interesting that you point that out in your impressions I'll see if I can find the article...I just read it within the past week. Okay..I was reading about tillers be...
